Restaurant Pinzeria by Bontempy
The interior design of chef Valentino Bontempi’s restaurant is a refined dialogue between eras—where gastronomy finds expression through culture and space.
Housed in a historic building, original architectural features—like moldings, arched openings, and fragments of decorative finishes—have been carefully preserved and seamlessly integrated into the design. The concept blends 19th-century Russian classicism with a contemporary sensibility, combining antique decorative elements with bold modern art pieces. The result is a warm, character-rich atmosphere that feels both familiar and visually layered—evoking the comfort of home while offering a unique and memorable dining experience.
Mishkin & Mishkin Restaurant
“Mishkin & Mishkin” is a chain of modern youth-oriented night restaurant-clubs located in various cities. Each space is unique, yet united by a shared philosophy of freedom, energy, and creativity. The interior reflects a contemporary urban aesthetic, blending industrial building elements and the illusion of a bygone industrial era with modern furniture and bold decor. Here, the decor includes multi-level structures, exposed brick, beams, staircases, ventilation hatches, and concrete walls — all seamlessly integrated into the club's atmosphere. Special attention is given to creative features, such as a giant pipe that delivers whiskey to the bar through multiple taps — a functional art object and a symbol of the club’s inventive spirit.
Night club Angar
The concept of the nightclub Angar is a bold post-apocalyptic world, where every element of the space is transformed into an artifact of the future. Industrial forms blend with steampunk elements, creating an atmosphere of fantastical reality beyond time.
This is a large-scale concert venue with provocative and unexpected design: rough textures, rusty metal structures, unconventional materials, and light direction merge into a single visual performance. This is not just a club — it is a scenography where the viewer becomes a participant in the action.
The project reveals the potential of design as a powerful tool for creating a new cultural experience.

Kira Virzhe is an artist and an in-demand designer with extensive experience. She is the founder of Kira Virzhe Design, a Los Angeles–based studio specializing in the design of public and commercial spaces — from restaurants and shops to offices, galleries, and cultural venues — as well as the development and production of custom decorative pieces.
As the founder of the progressive contemporary art gallery Left Leg in Russia, which supports avant-garde art projects, Kira brings sharp curatorial insight and deep creative intuition to her design work. Her projects are a fusion of art and design, filled with atmosphere and expressive storytelling — like a scene from a great film that stays with you.
